    I've been waiting a long time to find authentic Lebanese recipes and finally found it in Julie Taboulie's cook book It includes baklava, bulgur wheat salad, hummus, falafel, stuffed grape leaves and other favorites of Americans The 295 pages are filled with tips, how too's, and pictures of how the dish looks when finished I can't wait to try many of the other delicious looking dishes, especially all those lamb dishes.

    An excellent book Recipes were very well written, clear, and easy to follow When describing techniques unfamiliar to Western cook, Julie took the time to describe these techniques in detail She also described what you should see or feel to determine when a particular cooking step was complete I also enjoyed the little stories about Lebanon that were peppered throughout the recipe book It gave one a strong feeling for her love of the count
