All Sophie Creedon has ever wanted is a normal life – but normal life doesn’t seem to want Sophie Strikingly pretty a top student with uniue musical talent the London schoolgirl has always stood out from the crowd But it’s the Revenants that truly set her apart creatures not uite living not uite dead and visible only to Sophie Hard as she tries to ignore them her haunting has cost her friend. Mixed feelings I can enjoy a good paranormal story but at times this felt like nothing new Some readers thought of the Fallen series me too It was somewhat enjoyable but it also felt unrealistic I found it very hard to accept the fact that Sophie got used to her new role so fast and that it was al very normal what she felt she had to do I guess that s the power of love or somethingBut since I have the second book on my shelf I will continue the series just curious to find out what happens next The epilogue definitely made me curious

S opportunities even her parents’ trustIn a last ditch effort to free herself of it she foregoes a university place in favour of a waitressing job in the tiny village of Ardnasheen on Scotland’s wild northwest coast Though at first Ardnasheen seems to offer exactly the refuge Sophie has been looking for she uickly realizes that it harbors dark secrets of its own Barely a week into her new life. Bound by Sarah Bryant is a wonderful book Narrated by a young woman called Sophie she begins her story on a ferry boat to the tiny village of Ardnasheen on Scotland s wild northwest coast While in the seemingly uiet town Sophie makes some life changing discoveries such as why she can see Revenants and why she has the sight for the S th This fantasy novel features ancient lore about the fairies that roam the Scottish lands from murderous water horses to wild cats However Bryant also uses the Book of Enoch and legends to include in her story angels and what happens when they fall making it one of the most uniue stories that I ve read in the past few years It really captures not only the reader s imagination but interest because of the researched and collected knowledge on the topic Sophie must face the fact that she isn t who she thought she was She begins to uncover the dark secrets about her past and why her love for Lucas has not only thrown off the balance but might be worth dying forFull of enjoyable characters and written with immense skill this book is really just amazing I loved it and it has easily catapulted Bryant to my list of top authors I would suggest investing in the seuel Riven though because once you ve entered this fantasy you won t be able to leave
